PTA PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
I would like to thank Julie Burr and Tammy Murray, along with all the parents who helped with the luncheon for parent teacher conferences. It was a success, as always, and much appreciated. I would also like to thank Linda Pattberg for organizing the volunteers for Reality Town and the many other parents that volunteered. This activity requires a lot of help, but is well worth the effort. I want to thank Joy Loosli for organizing, collecting information, and putting together the Newsletter each month. It is so much appreciated. She keeps us all in the know of what is happening. Thanks to all those that help in every way at Centennial. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!
As this year just seems to be flying by, it made me think of a Hallmark card a friend gave me not too long ago, which read: “Parents do not realize, when their daughter is a child, how fleeting the moments truly are. And in the blink of an eye, the little girl who did pirouettes down the hall is dancing her way through her own life.” How true this is. As I now have my oldest child getting ready to graduate and move out, it seems like just yesterday she was in Middle School and life was so easy. I hope as this year continues to fly by that we can take time to smell the roses and enjoy every minute we can with our children. Treasure the time now; it goes by way too quickly.
